A little bit about us...

Hello there - I’m Andrew, and together with Dale we are the public face of ZapCarbon.com

For many years now I've been helping people save energy in their houses and businesses up and down the country. Professionally my background is in low Carbon Engineering and I find it really satisfying helping people make a difference. There's just SO many ways of saving when you start to look for them.

My energy saving obsession arose when I realised that our generation alone holds the keys to avoid bad climate change... we've just got to do something.

I’d been working on the online ZapCarbon idea for a while, when I met web-guru Dale (at ante-natal classes of all places), and we soon realised that we could work together so well.

With Dale just as committed to the Carbon-saving mission, together we have worked extremely hard on making this website a reality. We’ve been very fortunate in the great team of experts that has developed along the way. And of course the greatest thanks must go to our very understanding wives...

We really hope that you find the site helpful in your journey to a lower Carbon home. Even if you just take one positive step, it is still one positive step. And if that's helped make the world a bit cleaner, then it makes us very happy !
