ZapCarbon was founded in 2006 with the sole mission of creating positive environmental behaviour change. Our aim is to provide clients with programmes and cutting-edge tools that will enable their employees to drive high levels of savings.

 Our track record speaks for itself, and we take pride in creating and delivering programmes that will push the boundaries of what can be achieved through employee engagement. Clients regularly describe us as industry-leading.

 The team comprises a unique mixture of Engineering, Psychology and Digital Media skills - uniting with the common purpose of creating the greatest possible positive change.

 

Andrew Smith PhD CEng BEng

Anyone who knows Andrew will say he is massively passionate about bringing our Carbon emissions down. He has worked in numerous industries bringing about improvements and coaching behaviour change. As an Engineer though, his feet are firmly rooted on the ground when it comes to practicalities. He says lightening our footprints is everyone's challenge and thus is comfortable working with absolutely anyone, from Corporate Directors to householders. 2006 saw him found ZapCarbon, and it's kept him rather busy ever since.

 

Dale Holroyd MSc BSc

Dale likes the idea that it's possible to influence thousands of people using online communication and technology and has always been passionate about behaviour change. He is a Certified Internet Consultant and has vast experience working with large corporates as well as small start-ups in developing online communication strategies. A common interest in community and carbon emissions resulted in Dale and Andrew partnering in 2008.

 

Sally Whitley MSc

Sally started her career as a nurse. Over the past 12 years Sally has consulted across various NHS organisations on projects concentrating on change management and service redesign. Sally's prime interest is behavioural change and believes that if you work as an effective team you can achieve your aspirations. She is currently studying an MA in Coaching and Mentoring at Oxford Brookes University.

 

 

Delphine Wolfe MSc

Delphine has worked in Behaviour Change and Energy for 12 years, becoming head of consultancy at the National Energy Foundation. She is well-known on the conference speaking circuit as an inspirational motivator, and her passion for creating positive change is evident all the time. Ultimately behaviour change depends on people and Delphine is excellent in managing people throughout their journeys of change.

 

 

Joe Karmali BSc (Psychology), MSc

Joe is our latest recruit to the consultancy team. With a degree in Psychology and Masters in Environmental Science he brings a dynamism and passion to the team. He is very keen to help others make a difference and never lets a Carbon-saving opportunity pass by unaddressed. Joe is keen on all aspects of environmental matters, and when not saving Carbon you can find groving the countryside or plotting his next skiing trip. If Joe's on your project, you can be sure of a good result.

 
 

Caley Kohler BA

Caley has a wealth of experience in customer service and client liaison. Leading the customer-facing team, she brings her own special brand of positivity to everyone she meets. With a background in architectural and building services, she understands well the challenges facing Estates Managers today and will go the extra mile to ensure they receive the help they need.

 

 

Nick Oliver FMM BSc

Nick OliverNo-one forgets Nick Oliver. He has coached Behaviour Change across a huge number of industries in his own unique way. As a firm believer of no-pain, no-gain Nick achieves excellent results time and again. An alumnus of Cranfield University's Manufacturing Management Fellowship, he is well-respected amongst the boards of many industrial organisations.

 

Stephen Syfret CEng BSc

With a strong background in Civil Engineering, Stephen has spent years improving the build environment in terms of lowering Carbon impact. As time has progressed he has moved from influencing the structures themselves to how people operate within them. Stephen has facilitated and advised many groups on improving the sustainability of their operations, and regularly achieves impressive results.

Chris Schofield

Chris heads up our technology team. He oversees all aspects of our web and software systems development.

 

 

 

Matt Jura

Matt is our Senior Front End Developer, UI/UX Designer, and is a DNN Professional. Matt specialises in DotNetNuke, Flash, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Ajax, ASP.Net, SQL using Visual Studio, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Adobe Flash and Ilustrator.

 

 

Ken Orr

Ken is our Senior database specialist and leads our database web development services. Ken has been the technical power behind the functionality of all our products since 2008. No-one quite knows how he does what he does. All we know is he's ever so clever...

 

 

Jereth Cormack BSc

Jereth is our latest recruit to the technical team. Having spent 3 years studying Information Management at the University of Sheffield, Jereth positively relishes the cutting edge of new information technology. He has already worked on a number of large projects to great success, and his appetite for new challenges seems to know no bounds.

 

 

Lynette Holroyd BSc

Lynette has 20 years marketing experience and specialises in Search Marketing. Following a career in the Pharmaceutical industry, Lynette develops Internet Marketing and Communications Strategies focusing on initiatives which influence visitor behaviour online.

Kerry has a wealth of marketing experience and specialises in web project management, email marketing, design and photography.
